Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on patients with late-onset Pompe disease assessed

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a period characterized by distress and a deterioration in physical functioning for many patients with late-onset Pompe disease (LOPD), researchers reported at WMS 2022.

The researchers conducted a series of in-depth qualitative interviews and an online patient survey to better understand the experiences of patients with LOPD in the UK, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
